Synopsis: The Canary islands are a privileged enclave for wildlife. A groupe of small islands almost lost in the Atlantic that hosts more than 13,000 species, many of them endemic, it has been transformed over its existence, but still contain places where life remains unspoild to the passage of time, they are real redoubts of biodiversity, The theme of this documentary series of 8 half-hour chapters, that addresses processes of colonization and evolution, ultimately the reason for so much biodiversity, and shows little-known aspects in the strategies between animals and plants unique in the world.
