Synopsis: The film recounts the discrimination suffered by a family of German immigrants arrived in a village of the United States of America when, shortly after his arrival, the first World War breaks out. The family drama will be further aggravated when the eldest son of the neighbors returns from war wounded by German artillery, on the meanwhile the youngest son of the German family falls in lvoe for a local teenager. A member of the Village Council will awake the ability to understand people through a game that becomes a metaphor for social reconciliation, spiritual values and esprit de corps: the basket.
