Synopsis: Fed up with chasing serial killers, FBI agent Joel Campbell (James Spader) decides to retire: he asks for voluntary leave and moves to live in Chicago. When a year later, a woman appears murdered in her building, Campbell recognizes the style of David Allen Griffin (Keanu Reeves), a dangerous psycho who persecuted for five years.
